About Wittmann, AZ
Wittmann is a small town in Maricopa County, Arizona. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 684 with a total area of 0.96 square miles.
The first town's name was "Nadaburg". The present one is named after Joseph Wittmann and his wife, who in vain attempted to get approvals to build a dam project nearby Box Canyon that would have benefitted the town.
Today, Wittmann is known for its rural, peaceful environment and it's outdoor recreational areas.
