Port Chester is a village in the US state of New York and the most populous village in the state of New York. Its population grew to 29,342 at the 2019 census. As of the 2020 census, Port Chester has a population of 31,693. Port Chester is located in southeast Westchester and borders the state of Connecticut and the city of Greenwich to the east. The village is also part of the New York Metropolitan Statistical Area and is a transportation hub between the New England states and New York.
