About Lyme
Lyme is a small town that is a part of New London County. It is located in the southeastern part of it. Being a part of Saybrook, Lyme was separated from it in 1665 and received its current name in 1667. It has only 89 square kilometers of total area, of which only 6.7 kilometers is water. There are also two national parks in Lyme – Selden Neck State Park and Beckett Hill State Park Reserve. The total population of the town is 2,352, according to the 2020 census.
