Being a part of a great Phoenix metropolitan area, Guadalupe is a small town in Maricopa County in the city of Arizona. It has only 2,07 square kilometers of total area and a population of 5,322. Guadalupe was founded around 1900 by the Yaqui Indians, and the town is now the center of Yaqui culture. Several religious festivals take place here. The Tempe Diablo Stadium, which is located 2 miles away from the Guadalupe, is a great place to watch baseball as some great teams have played here through the years. Kiwanis Park is also a great place to visit. There are many playgrounds for baseball, volleyball, and basketball. Also, there’s a beautiful picnic area.
