About Evanston
Evanston is a town in Cook County, incorporated in 1863. In 1988 Evanston became the sister city of the Dnieprovsky district in Kyiv and Belize City in 1992. One of the best educational institutions in the United States, Northwestern University, is located in Evanston. If you love learning history, you may want to visit the Evanston History Centre and the Mitchell Museum of the American Indian. Also, there are other museums with some extraordinary exhibitions - American Toby Jug Museum and Time & Glass Museum. It’s a great place for people who love shopping. There are a couple of shopping districts with various goods from across the world. Last but not least, you can enjoy some time on Clark Street Beach. It has a swimming area and a volleyball area.
