About Preston
Preston is located in New London County, in the southeastern part of Connecticut. In 687 first English settlers established a plantation between Norwich and Stonington. A year later, it was incorporated as a separate town. The town’s early commerce consisted of shoemaking, metalsmithing and shipbuilding enterprises. Today, the town retains its rural aesthetic.
