About Cornwall
Cornwall is a peaceful town in northwest Connecticut, United States. It was incorporated in 1740, almost four decades earlier than the US declaration of independence. It is also known as the “Greenest Town in Connecticut” because most of its territory is covered with forests.
The magnificent nature of the town inspired the famous local poet Mark Van Doren throughout his writings. Cornwall is also the birthplace of Ethan Allen and General John Sedgwick, famous historical figures.
