About Frisco
Frisco is a picturesque city in Texas, part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. This city is the fastest-growing city in the United States. Frisco is a big bedroom community because residents always work in DFW. The city was founded in 1860 on one of the oldest roads in the USA − Shawnee Trail. Frisco was named after the St. Louis − San Francisco Railway (the name was shortened to Frisco). The place of this city – road – inspired to open there a Museum of the American Railroad. Frisco is well-known as a city of home to several sporting venues. The Dr. Pepper Ballpark is located there. This is a huge baseball stadium which hosted its first baseball game in 2003. In 2005 Toyota Stadium was opened. This is a 20000-seat soccer stadium. The honor of this city is the NCAA Division I-AA (FCS) college football championship starting in 2010.
