Tequesta is a village that is part of Palm Beach County, Florida. It was founded in 1950 and it was named after a Native American tribe Tequesta. The total area of Tequesta is 2.6 square miles and the population is about 6,150 people, according to the 2020 census. Tequesta was incorporated as a village in 1957.
