About Jupiter, FL
Jupiter is a town in the northern part of Palm Beach County, FL. It was incorporated in February 1925. It was supposed to be named after the Hobe Indian tribe, but the mapmaker didn’t understand it right and wrote it as Jobe. Later other mapmakers interpreted it as the name of the Roman god Jupiter. The total area of the town is 23.12 square miles and the population is about 61,000 people, according to the 2020 census.
