About Hobe Sound, FL
Hobe Sound is located in the southern part of Martin County in Florida. It is an unincorporated urban area. The total area of Hobe Sound is 7.72 square miles and the population is approximately 13,100 people, according to the 2020 census.
At first, this area was inhabited by Native Americans and it had the name – Jobe. Later the name morphasized into Hoe-bey, which finally resulted in the name – Hobe Sound.
