About Wellington
Wellington is a village in Palm Beach County, north of Miami. Its history started only in the 1950s after Charles Oliver Wellington bought about 18 000 acres of land and established the Flying Cow Ranch. After his death, the family sold the rancho’s portions to many farmers. Today, with a population of over 65 thousand, Wellington is the most populous village in the state. The village is known for its Winter Equestrian Festival, the biggest and longest-running horse show in the world.
